We Are Specialists.
Our Founder, and Director Peter Laver is a degree qualified Surveyor who gained over eight years of extensive surveying and civil engineering experience in Australia and the UK before transitioning into recruitment. Our Recruitment Director Richard Christer also has vast industry-specific knowledge having worked on site in both South Africa and the UK. All our Consultants receive extensive training, so they can fully understand the culture, norms and rules of the civil engineering and construction industries. Soon after graduating with a Bachelor of Applied Science in Surveying from Queensland University of Technology, Peter went on to gain extensive Project experience across numerous construction sectors such as mining, road, and airports both in the UK and Australia.
He commenced his recruitment career in 2005 and the next thirteen years saw him recruit and manage teams across the full recruitment life cycle in the civil engineering and construction markets in the UK, the UAE, Ireland, New Zealand and now Australia.
Peter’s passion is to be involved in major project recruitment and his mantra is “Hard work brings luck.’’

Anna has been with the company from the very beginning and has been involved in many aspects of the business: accounts, compliance, data maintenance, credit insurance, to name a few.
She is currently responsible for talent acquisition, marketing as well as delivering ad hoc projects.

Richard acquired seven years of operations experience in both civil construction and building projects in South Africa and the UK. He has spent the last seven years in recruitment across civil, mining and fast-moving consumer goods sectors in the UK, Africa and Australia.

Amanda has been in the recruitment industry for more than 10 years. For the last 4 years she has been working as a Recruitment / Accounts Administrator specialising in contract and permanent engineering and associated staffing solutions to the construction industry.

Hewson has recently transitioned to recruitment from the Australian Army where he served for over four years. As an ex-military, he brings to our company outstanding interpersonal and team-building skills as well as the ability to work under pressure.
Hewson’s mantra is “Don’t live to work, work to live”.
Sarah loves customer service! She also loves people, and she combines that with her energy and enthusiasm while undertaking her duties at ConsultANZ. While Sarah is new to recruitment, she isn’t new to giving her clients good service – so she already excels in her role as a Candidate Resourcer supporting the Recruitment Team.

Chris had a 20-year long career in the Australian Navy and also run his own successful business in WA. Chris has great analytical, communication, and decision-making skills and will be taking on the role of a Recruitment Consultant.
Chris’s mantra is “Work until your idols become rivals!”
Nico has four years recruitment experience in engineering , mining and defence sectors across Africa and Australasia. Nico has a Psychology qualification and extensive experience in Psychometric evaluations. His speciality is recruitment of civil engineers, QA/QC and SMP related positions.
