Skilled Independent Visa Invitations – DIBP
The Department of Immigration and Border Protection (DIBP) has published results from the September round of visa invitations issued to Skilled Workers.
ConsultANZ are pleased to inform applicants interested in working in Australia that on September 20th, 1750 Skilled Independent visas subclass 189 were issued which brings the total number of visas issued in September to 3500. This is a sharp rise from the 2000 visas issued in the previous month.
In total, over 8000 skilled worker visas have been issued since July 2017.
Skilled Independent visa (subclass 189) (Points-tested) is for skilled applicants who are not sponsored by an employer or family member or nominated by a state or territory government. The visa allows you to live and work in Australia as a permanent resident.
